The countdown to the Oriental Red Carpet Fashion Show on Thursday, 30 September, 2010 is well under way. Just days remaining for ladies to obtain invitations for one of the most eagerly awaited fashion event; organised by Dubai Ladies Club, a member of Dubai Women Establishment.
The fashion show – which will mark the spectacular climax to the Oriental Red Carpet Emerging Designer Contest 2010 when the four winners - Hessa Al Falasi (winner of Jalabiyas category), Hanadi Badu (winner of Abayas category), Moza Al Mazrou (winner of Ready-to-wear category) and Halima Al Sayegh (winner of Jewellery category) - will debut their mini-collections to the media and a key local niche clientele for the first time.
The three Emirati winners have also won a rare opportunity to travel to London for an exclusive fashion tour organized by Dubai Ladies Club in collaboration with Cheval Residences, VisitBritain and Westfields London. The agenda for the excursion in February 2011 will include visits to high profile exclusive fashion events including tickets to London Fashion Week 2011 & Westfield London’s fashion show. Moreover, the Emirati designers will also have meetings with renowned personalities from the international fashion world such as Dragana Perisic - who creates beautiful women’s fashion in her ‘signature look’ using her Suffolk Puffs as well as Barry Laden - CEO of The Laden Showroom.

The show will begin at 19:30 on Thursday, 30 September, 2010 in the Al Mahara Ballroom, Dubai Ladies Club and will showcase designs in four categories: Abayas, Jalabiyas, Ready-to-Wear and Jewellery. Each person attending the event will win surprise gifts at the end of the show.
